The votes are in…

…and round two is to come on October 31. Dilma Rousseff took 46.7% of the vote and José Serra 32.7% (with 98.99% of the votes in), so the top two presidential candidates will go to a second round of voting, since neither was able to earn the faith of at least 50% of Brazilians. Check out all the round-one results here. (And don’t forget: If Dilma wins, she’ll be Brazil’s first female president.)
